Dr. Thomas Jones has more than 40 years of leadership experience in business and property management, in Southern California as well as motorcycle retail businessman.

After successfully completing a management training program with the General Telephone Company of California, he co-founded the Rodriguez, Jones Group on Partnerships later renamed ConsensYs Property Management, Inc. They develop and manage real estate holdings, both residential and commercial. The success of this firm has led to diversified personal management, investment and community activities. He is a Director of ConsensYs Property Management, Inc., an Accredited Management Organization (AMO) meeting the high standards of Ability and Integrity established by the Institute of Real Estate Management of the National Association of Realtors. ConsensYs fee manages 2000 apartment units in California.

Dr. Jones served active duty in the US Army both in Germany and in the United States with the 4th ID. He served 6 years in the USAR with the 63rd ID. He also served 16 years with the CANG-California State Military Reserve. He holds a diploma from the USMC Command and Staff College. His involvement with the Armed Forces did not end with his active and reserve duty. He has continued to support the Armed Forces in various capabilities. He is a US Navy Colleges PACE Instructor teaching Criminal Justice, Business, English and Mathematics. He served as a management consultant for the California Department of Veterans Affairs, Sacramento. Currently he is a volunteer with the ESGR, an organization that assists active service members return to their employment after being mobilized and demobilized.

Dr. Jones attended the Alhambra Police Department Academy where he worked as a Reserve Officer for 2 years. Subsequently, he attended the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Academy and served the department as a Reserve Deputy for 31 years.

Dr. Jones received his B.S. from California State Polytechnic University. He received his MBA from the University of California, at Los Angeles and received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Management from Claremont Graduate University. He authored a book titled, "Entrepreneurism: the mythical, the true and the new."
